WALT: Write an effective argument for our chosen political party.

Is National the best party to vote for?  Personally I believe Maori party is best to vote for.

Here are three policies I would vote for; Aim to end homelessness by 2020, Make doctor and dentist visits free for under 18s, Reduce company tax to 25 per cents. The first policy I will explain is Aim to end homelessness by 2020 and that’s a policy in Housing.  

Aim to end homelessness by 2020

I think that we should end homelessness because I think people don’t deserve to be homeless.Kids shouldn’t be homeless because kids didn’t do anything wrong it’s just their parents! I think that houses should be a bit cheaper because in now day houses are so expensive it means that we could never end homelessness if houses are so expensive. Heath is also really important because you need to keep safe.

Make doctor and dentist visits free for under 18s

I think that kids under 18 should be able to visit doctors and dentists for free because kids are still growing their body and could die easily.  So if kids are under 18 they could go to doctors for free so parents could save the money for them self if they need to go to a doctors or the dentist. So if people are homeless it means they could save their kids until they have better hope when their older. Economy is something hard to deal with such as Tax money.

Reduce company tax to 25 per cent

I think It’s unfair that you earn so much money and then giving the money to the government! I think instead of giving thousands of dollars to the government we should just give them a few cents. Because our parents earn the money from their jobs they spend so much money so I think that we should just give the government 25 per cents sides they have the whole world that gives them money. I wish that this could help people in the future and that people could vote for Maori party.

So there clearly I have explain why I think the  Maori party is the best party. Maori party is the best in housing. I have talked Reduce company tax to 25 per cent, Make doctor and dentist visits free for under 18s, Aim to end homelessness by 2020 the one that is most important to me is Aim to end homelessness by 2020. I wish you could take my advice because I can’t vote yet because I am only 11 so I wish you could take my advice.

Koru Games reflection

Koru Games Reflection

In the Koru Games the sport I competed in was Girls football

Our team lost most games but got a tie with Hornby high.

I found the experience to be a striker because I found that position easier than others.

In terms of working with Individuals and Groups; my solo level was Multistructural because normally I don't really share my ideas with everyone.

For Teamwork; my solo level is relational because I would share my ideas with people in the same position as me.

Individuals and groups	I need help to work in a group (with teachers or other students	I can work in a group with my friends.	I can work in a group with anyone in my  year level or team	I can respond positively to the needs of others	I can reflect on how well I work with the group and seek feedback on how I can improve

I can participate and take responsibility in a team.	I can participate and take responsibility in a team and explain my choices in terms of team outcomes.	I can participate in creating healthy teams by taking responsibility and critical action.

One thing that I found challenging about writing formal letters was the main body.

My next step is: look for more opportunities to put my letter writing knowledge into practice in the future is finding words that mean the same word which means instead of is not it is isn't.
